Cha Cha Changes...

 

I have been thinking about this for some time now and have decided to merge my personal and business blog together. I want my customers to know me as a person as well as a retailer. I want then to know who they are doing business with and what I stand for. 


I know that I might loose some followers with this transition. Maybe some of you don't want to know me, and just want to buy my adorable clothes and not think twice about it. Sadly, I'm not that kind of business entirely. When I shop I like knowing i support other handmade businesses, I like knowing that the purchase I made is helping a new a new mom stay home with her baby.


So starting this week I will stop posting to the Elle Dee Designs...behind the scenes blog. I hope that each of you will come over to It's My Life and join me on my adventures. I enjoying writing about everything, adventures with my husband, the awesome city we live in, DIY crafts, my religion and photography. I even host a weekly linky party for you pictures called It's My Insta-Life.

Today I want to introduce you to my sweet friend Aimee of byAimee.com. As I was preparing to write this post I had to ask Aimee, "Do you remember who introduced us or how we met?" She had a better idea than I did. No matter how it was I'm so glad to have this amazing women in my life! Only thing that could make it better is if one day we get to meet in real life {I see this in our future}.


Aimee runs an amazing company called byAimee.com that specializes in designing websites for small businesses & non-profits. They do amazing work and I love all of it! Aimee has helped me with several projects over the past year, everything from a adorable landing page for my business facebook page, to buttons for both my business and personal blogs.

 When I asked Aimee what her favorite part of her business was she told me, "helping small businesses find their presence on-line with a beautiful brand/image to set their business a part." Who doesn't want to work with someone whose favorite part of their job is making YOUR business better!

Aimee and her family recently made a cross country move from the seasonal North East to sunny Southern California for her husband's job. Craig is a career Marine and has been faithfully serving our country for 13 years. She told me that the favorite thing about their move besides the beautiful weather is the family they have found at their new church North Coast Church.

So when Aimee isn't running byAimee.com, she keeps busy being a military wife, Mommy to Jack and Abby, and a blogger.

A New Year and A Few New Changes

In my mind I have such big ideas, sometimes it's hard for me to make them all happen. I'm going to do my best this year. For about 5 months I have been thinking about debuting a new way of purchasing our products. Rather than ordering a dress or tie shirt here or there I've been working on a Dress of the Month Club. So what better time to start something new than with the new year. So beginning this month we will be selling dresses/skirts/boys shirts in 3 month groupings. Each month you will receive a surprise piece in the mail. Some months the item will be holiday themed and others just fun or seasonal. You can change your sizes any time you wish and by purchasing through the Club you will be getting a discount as well!! So keep those eyes peeled and get ready for some fun!

Girls Dress of the Month Club
*Each month you will receive a Elle Dee Designs dress (reguarly priced at $30 and above). A surprise dress (pillowcase, smocked, peasant, etc.) will arrive in the mail by the end of each month.
*Each dress will be current & appropriate to the time of year. Short sleeve or tank style dresses will be sent throughout the year and will need to be layered with a long sleeve tee.
